Playa Estacahuite is the closest bay to Puerto Angel in direction Huatulco. You reach it on foot or by car if you turn from the mainroad towards the sea nearly at the entrance of Puerto Angel (coming from Pochutla, there is a sign that says “Playa Estacahuite – 800 meters). The bay is divided up in two tiny beaches, both surrounded by rocks. Because of it’s stony seaground Playa Estacahuite fits more for snorkeling than for bathing. A lot of fishes and some restaurants are the reason why a lot of snorkeling/fishing-tours stop here. Last update: 23.11.2003
